A gated, age-restricted golf community, Summerlin flows along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, minutes from the Vegas Strip. Summerlin has been Southern Nevada's top-selling, master-planned community since sales began in 1990, and has also ranked as the country's best-selling master-planned community six of the past seven years.

Golf

This 3564-yard par-72 features 97 bunkers and six water features. Two of the more difficult holes are the fourth and the seventeenth.

The fourth hole, a 448-yard, uphill par 4, requires a mammoth tee shot. With no fairway bunkers this hole allows the player to make an aggressive swing from the tee. The green is surrounded by sand and grass bunkers so take extra club on the approach shot to this uphill green. Be careful of the back left pin placement, only the most accurate players should fire at that pin.

The seventeenth, a 178-yard par-3, will punish a poorly hit tee shot. The elevation changes from tee to green will effect the tee distance. This big undulating green will challenge even the best putters.
