The 18-hole championship course was designed by Jim Lipe—the Senior Design Associate at Jack Nicklaus Design, a title which he received upon completion of designs in Mexico and South America.

Sixteen low-maintenance townhomes run along the golf course's first fairway. They feature 2-3 bedrooms, all brick exteriors, landscaping and other amenities. Prices range from $210,000 to $250,000. Course-side lots of a half acre or larger run from $52,000 to $75,000.

Those purchasing homesites should take advantage of the Master Builder Program, as Taberna lets you choose from a list of construction companies which will assist in developing a plan for your home.

The spacious clubhouse has a casual grill, elegant dining room, locker rooms and a fully-stocked golf and tennis pro shop. Nestled behind the clubhouse are an Olympic-size pool and four tennis courts. The clubhouse terrace offers a view of the 9th and 18th holes.

The clubhouse features design elements of an historic castle in Bern, Switzerland: towering ceilings, multi-paned windows and a richly wooded interior.
