This is a semi-private golf club and resident membership definitely has its privileges. Full residential membership includes unlimited golf. You only pay cart or trail fees. Your spouse and any children still in school or in active military duty also enjoy the full benefit of your membership. Access to the tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness center and private members-only areas are included in this.

There's also an 18,000-square-foot clubhouse in Rustic Mountain Craftsman architecture (picture red logs and a roaring fireplace) that serves as one of the centers of the community with a clubhouse restaurant.

RedTail Mountain is a seasonal course (mid March through mid November usually), but that gives homeowners time to enjoy the nearby ski slopes.

Not just your ordinary golf course community
