This 4,600-acre community on Tellico Lake in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee boasts two championship golf courses along 40 miles of shoreline. A third course is scheduled for completion in September 2002.
Golf
The par-72 Toqua championship course is consistently rated one of the best in Tennessee. Measuring 6,970 yards, the course offers views of rolling hills and fairways built on a peninsula.
The Tanasai course incorporates a lake into its design and has four sets of tees that play from 6,731 to 5,044 yards. A links course, Kahite, is coming soon. It will feature an 850-yard, par-six hole that will be the longest in the U.S.
Kahite will be part of an 850-acre, gated community, which will have the same name as the golf course. Already completed are the clubhouse, pool and tennis courts.

Golf lots range from $25,000 to $100,000+. Lakefront lots from $140,000 to $450,000+. Single-family homes from $100,000 to $1 million+. Townhomes range from $85,000 - $550,000. Visitation Program: $79 for 3 day/2 nights in a townhouse or single-family home; special golf packages available.

Tellico Lake is a TVA lake just 30 miles from Knoxville that covers more than 16,000 acres and offers 370 miles of shoreline. The lake is located in a special temperate zone between the Great Smoky and Cumberland mountain ranges that translates into moderate temperatures year-round.
Tellico Village is a Where to Retire magazine Top 100 Best Master-Planned Community. Amenities include a recreation center, multiple clubhouses, fishing, swimming, sailing, water skiing, tennis, horseback riding, hiking and biking. The Yacht Club features a full-service marina, more than 300 boat slips and fine dining overlooking the lake. Anglers can fish for bass, crappie, bream, and brown trout.
