Apartment Description This Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2nd floor apartment is brand new and provides luxury accommodation in a perfect location. The furniture has been hand picked by the owner to a very high standard providing elegant and comfortable holiday accommodation. The apartment is approximately 85 m2 in size plus a spacious balcony. The property, built to a very high specification, is fully equipped and luxuriously appointed with marble floors throughout and ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning resulting in a standard which is far higher than anything you could find in this region. It has under-floor heating in the bathrooms for winter use and the balcony can be accessed from the lounge and one of the bedrooms via full width patio doors with wooden shutters. The apartment boasts a large living area with a very comfortable sofa (that turns into a double bed), armchair, foot stool, leather cube and an additional stool. There is a dinning table to seat six, a large coffee table and a beautiful display cabinet. In the living area you will also find a Plasma TV, DVD & CD Player with Sky TV installed. The kitchen and adjacent utility room comes with everything you would expect. It contains a fridge freezer, oven, hob and extractor, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two singles. Large fitted wardrobes are available in each bedroom, together with bedside tables and drawers. Another large fitted wardrobe can be found in the hallway ensuring that there is plenty of storage space throughout the apartment especially if the lounge is used as bedroom with use of the sofa bed. There are also two large bathrooms with fitted mirrors, bath and shower. The master bedroom benefits from one of the bathrooms as a en-suite and has his and hers wash-hand basins. The balcony itself overlooks one of the three large communal pools and landscaped gardens. It is equipped with dinning furniture to seat six. Access to the apartment can be made using one of two lifts or by means of a staircase. The Grounds The apartment is located inside a complex that includes: -3 large communal pools (one is heated in winter for year round use) -3 water features -Landscaped tropical gardens -24 hour security guard -Underground parking with remote door -CCTV at all entry points to the complex -The whole complex is wheelchair friendly Golf Courses For Golf lovers, there are an abundance of courses with four of them being championship class courses all within easy reach: La Manga club is about 40 mins drive South and the new desert course at Mosa Trajectum is even closer. All the courses have a club house, pro shop, restaurant and refreshment facilities. If you don’t want to drive or pay the prices for the Exclusive La Manga Club then there are five prestigious Golf Courses within a short drive from the apartment where a round of gold can be played for as little as Ł10 - Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Villamartin, La Maquesa and La Finca . In addition the apartments benefit from their own Pitch and Put course situated across the road, which will be ready at the end of April 2007. Temperature & Climate The hottest months are between June and September when temperatures average 27C to 34C, but even winter months are a comfortable 17C average and rising to 21C which make the area a popular year round destination. The climate at Punta Prima is especially beneficial for sufferers of respiratory, arthritic ailments or illnesses. The Costa Blanca has been described by the World Health Organization as being one of the healthiest places to live. This is partially due to the proximity of the Salt Lakes and the sunshine - you can expect to enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year! This is attractive for sun worshippers, golfers and water sport enthusiasts alike with temperatures rarely dropping below 15c in the colder, winter months. Beaches The region has beautiful sandy beaches, Europe’s largest salt flat lakes which are bursting with bird life, historic sites and a huge variety of Spanish and international restaurants. The beaches in and around Torrevieja are plentiful and vary from vast expanses of sand to small, pebble coves. Many of the safe white sandy beaches are proud to display the prestigious Blue Flag, which is awarded by the EU for cleanliness and safety. A short drive along the coastline are the beaches of Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Playa de los Naufragos, Playa del Cura, Playa de la Mata and Playa de los Locus. Closer to home at Punta Prima we have three sandy beaches all within walking distance of the apartment- one being only 300 meters away. Towards Torrevieja there is a beautiful beach with a back drop of tropical Palm Trees, on the seafront next to the Nautilus Bar (great food, fantastic views overlooking the med) there is a small, enclosed beach and towards Playa Flamenca is our local beach at old Punta Prima. (There is a Restaurant here and for most of the summer months a wooden Beach Bar providing hot and cold snacks). A little further along there is even have an unofficial Nudists Beach!
